Community Meals

We really enjoy our community lunches! We run 2 different types of events at this location:

1. Tea Time Together: a mid week tea time event that runs every other Wednesday during term times from 4pm - 6pm. There is always a wide variety of meal choices including a hot meal, soup, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and desert with custard! We also provide table activities for the children and along with a story time session around 5 pm. This is a great event to come along to if you fancy a meal, snack or just a drink, a friendly chat and if needed a grocery bag to go home with.

2. Sunday lunches: held once a month on Sundays from 12:30pm - 2:00pm. It's a free two-course hot meal that's open to anyone. Our guests enjoy delicious food, friendly company and some encouraging words from the Bible. The community meals on Sunday are run in partnership with Pilgrims Hatch Baptist Church after their Sunday service, which all are welcome to come to.

All our community meal events are totally free for anyone to join, no booking necessary!

Freezer Manna

Our frozen meals are a great way to support more people in the local community. Here's how it works:

Grocery Gift Bags

As a way to support those in immediate need of food provisions, we pack and distribute gift bags of groceries to various organisations around Brentwood. These are given away as gifts to tide people over in an emergency situation whilst they gather other social support.

Manna Meals aims to:

Relieve hardship, distress and suffering through food, practical advice and other forms of Christian care.
