15 Sep Victoria De Coster Awarded the PM’s Daily Points of Light Award
We are proud to announce that Victoria De Coster has been awarded the Daily Points of Light Award today on behalf of Manna Meals. Every day the Prime Minister awards an outstanding volunteer for their inspirational service as a ‘Point of Light‘ and Victoria has been awarded this for her voluntary work in response to Covid-19. Please join us in congratulating her!
We recognise we are just a small part of a large network of people, charities and other organisations who have pulled together to support our communities throughout lockdown. As such, we would like to take this opportunity to thank and recognise our friends and partners, including Brentwood Foodbank, Daily Bread Cafe, the Lighthouse Furniture project, ‘Who let the Dads out’ group, Hope Mums, BRAG, Brentwood Mutual Aid and the Fit and Fed project, who have worked tirelessly to ensure those in need can continue to receive food and support during this challenging time.
Manna Meals would also like to thank Councillor Chris Hossack and the team at Brentwood Borough Council for initially bringing together local organisations and charities at the beginning of lockdown. This has been pivotal in enabling all of us to work together effectively so we can continue to reach out to those in our community who have struggled to acquire food during this time.
As always, Manna Meals would like to thank all those involved with the charity for their continued support, prayers, commitment and hard work. We couldn’t do it without you!!
Thank you and God bless!
